Intern – Equities Derivatives

 

Job Description - Group Description

 

The Internship program will be approximately 2 months in length from July and is designed to give the participant a comparable experience to that of a First Year Analyst. (The length of internship program may be extended when it suits candidate’s academic schedule.)

 

The opportunity will be in Credit Suisse Seoul Securities Office.

 

Program/Training

 

Responsibilities of the position will include, but not limited to:

· Assist in Marketing for various Equity or Equity-related OTC Derivatives products & Equity-Linked Warrants

· Develop presentation materials and perform simple analysis/research

· Prepare research of market data, products and information

· Assist Derivatives pricing and transaction, etc.

 

You’ll be provided with on-the-job training and given specific training for the project that you are assigned during your time with Credit Suisse. It’s an opportunity to gain first-hand experience at a top tier investment bank.

 

Qualifications

Interested candidates must be a penultimate year student (February 2011 graduate preferred) from a Bachelor or Master’s degree program and have a strong interest in building a career in Finance. Major in Business Administration or Engineering is preferred(basic Finance knowledge preferred), but not required. Credit Suisse is noted for the diversity of its employees but seeks candidates with a common set of abilities – highly motivated, creative individuals who have demonstrated academic achievement (cumulative GPA of B+ or above) and have the ability to work independently while still operating as a member of a team. Fluency in written and verbal English as well as computer literacy is essential. In addition, we look for candidates who are strong in Mathematics, resourceful, flexible and responsive in working with others.
